Why are so many brides leaving their hair and makeup wedding bookings so late? I could scream when I read in magazines and on posts that suggest to book hair and makeup 2 months before. Seriously, 95% of the team (and industry competitors) are booked by then which limits selection; impacts on travel costs (which may not have been applicable earlier) and limits weekend trial availability before your day. Please, please, please, don’t leave it so late! Ideally 12-6 months before your date you need to organise your hair and makeup. Listen to us, we’re the professionals. Not editors of magazines. We do this for our living.
