In late 2010, Kerrie Gargano took the helm, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the company. Committed to excellence, Magical Makeovers maintains a rigorous selection process—every artist is carefully interviewed, their portfolios and resumes meticulously reviewed, and only those with exceptional bridal expertise, a friendly nature, a ‘can do’ attitude are personally invited to join the team.
With an impressive track record of over 13,000 weddings, the majority of their work comes from glowing recommendations by past brides and other wedding vendors. Beyond weddings, the team boasts extensive experience in fashion, film, television, theatre, catwalks, magazine editorials, and glamour photography. We are always looking for new and talented artists to join our team. So, if you think you meet the criteria – give us a call and we will meet with you for an interview.
Our Criteria
- Must love doing wedding work
- Must have vast experience with wedding make up and / or hair
- Must have a portfolio or disk of your work
- Hairdressers must specialize in long hair and formal styles.
- Make up artists will have to have done some photographic work.
- Must be willing to work on weekends.
- Must have certificates of training courses.
- Must be available to travel to a brides home for her trial and on the wedding day (most of your work will be local to you)
- All work is on a casual / freelance basis
- Must be prepared to work with others in the team, or on your own.
